Since 2024, our Lowline Angus cattle have been grazing opposite the T-Bone Steakhouse. This rare breed of cattle originates from Australia and is particularly sustainable.
Small but mighty: Lowline Angus cattle are about a third smaller than traditional breeds – perfect for our local meadows.
Genetically hornless: no stress from dehorning, greater safety for animals and humans.
Incredibly calm and gentle: the cattle are people-oriented, mostly very even-tempered and uniquely uncomplicated.
Perfect for sustainable agriculture: they require little feed, make optimal use of the meadows – and thus ensure healthy nature and sustainable agriculture.
1. Year-round grazing & suckler cow husbandry: The Lowline Angus enjoy freedom all year round on our lush pastures. You can see this directly from our restaurant. The calves grow up protected in the herd. Natural feed consisting of grass, herbs, and regional hay gives the meat its unmistakable aromatic flavor.
2. Slaughter close to the farm: To avoid stress and preserve the natural tenderness of the meat, slaughtering takes place directly on our farm. A stress-free environment guarantees the highest quality and an ethically sound product.
